Welcome to Washington Middle School!
We are so excited to welcome our students, families, and staff to another amazing school year at Washington Middle School! Our building is filled with energy, excitement, and anticipation for all of the wonderful opportunities this year will bring. We are so happy that you are here, and we want you to know that you are an important part of our Washington Middle School family.
At Washington Middle School, we believe in the power of four important words: Respectful. Responsible. Safe. Willing.
- Be Respectful – Treat yourself, your classmates, your teachers, and everyone around you with kindness, compassion, and respect.
- Be Responsible – Take ownership of your choices, your actions, your learning, and your success.
- Be Safe – Make choices that protect yourself and others and help create a school environment where everyone feels secure and supported.
- Be Willing – Be willing to try, willing to learn, willing to grow, and willing to step outside of your comfort zone. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be willing to give your best.
Our teachers and staff are here to support you and your learning every step of the way. We are committed to creating an environment where every student feels valued, challenged, encouraged, and supported so that you can become the very best version of yourself.
We also know that student success is strongest when schools, families, and communities work together. We are grateful for our parents and families who partner with us, encourage our students, communicate with our staff, and support learning at home. We are equally thankful for our Board of Education and the many community members and organizations who invest in our students and our school. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our children.
